Here's a very good article regarding the decisions we make:

It is amazing how much time we exhaust on decisions that have little or no eternal significance.
Our minds are over-stimulated with the trivial and yet we spend so little time on the things of God.
Hebrews 10:23-25 is a great reminder:
Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful. And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.
Song that comes to mind: "I Have Decided to Follow Jesus" ... no turning back, no turning back.

Love others
But I trust in your unfailing love; my heart rejoices in your salvation. Psalm 13:5 NIV
Always trust God's love, rejoicing in His grace and mercy!
Do not be afraid to follow where God leads.
Song for thought: "Wherever He Leads I'll Go"

Do hard things, start now...
Nearing the end of this year and the beginning of another. It's a mile marker along the highway of life. Reminded that we are not called to be creatures of comfort, but Christians of character. Considering this book/blog:

May God continue to raise us up beyond a life of leisure to do the hard things for His glory!

Christmas is a coming...
Reminded over and over that the world is continually turning away from Jesus. Christmas itself has become yet another battle ground instead of a time of rejoicing, reflection and worship.
Song in my mind: "I Heard the Bells on Christmas Day"
Sadly, "hate is strong and mocks the song of peace on earth, good will to men."
"Still peel the bells more loud and sweet, God is not dead nor doth He sleep."
Pray that we have the persistence of ringing bells tolling the Good News of Jesus Christ to the world.

Reflection and Anticipation
Thinking on: Solomon's request for wisdom. (read this on Amber's blog)
Song in my head: "Breathe" - ...Your holy presence, living in me...
Day ahead: lunch with friends, plan for Vegas mission trip
Looking forward to Christmas with family.
Rambling: Great weekend with youth Christmas play. Wonderful students and adults coming together to communicate the Gospel message in a creative way. Pray for those who heard.
